Titus has been a bit quiet on here lately! Due to our daughter coming home for a few months we needed the space, so he has been fostered out to a good friend.
Today is his first day back home. As a treat he now has a new outdoor enclosure, much more roomy with his own olive tree and greenhouse!

Oh wow, that looks amazing! What a nice space for Titus -- lots of variety and places to explore -- and his own olive tree too (very posh)!
I can't remember how big he is now, and I can't quite tell how high your walls are, but do be sure that he can't use anything in that inclosure to climb out. You could think about nailing a thin piece of board along the top on the front and right-hand side (where there isn't a wall behind it) facing inwards to make a little lip at the top inside. It only needs to project inwards by about half an inch or an inch at most prevent him from climbing out. Or sometimes just a little triangular piece on each corner is enough to keep them from using the two sides where corners meet to climb out. Lol, I wouldn't be saying this if Sir Titus wasn't a Horsfield, but they are demon climbers.
I think you've done a brilliant job with that enclosure, and I hope other people will come on and admire it.

Yep, already thought about his escape attempts! Also stops the local cats using it as a luxury litter tray!!
I've buried breeze blocks under the sleepers, so about a foot deep below the soil? Will that be enough (I hope do, because it's too late now).

Oh my -- that is perfect! What a lovely enclosure, and I hope he appreciates all of the efforts you've made on his behalf. Yes, I'm sure that a foot deep will be enough. What a lucky tortoise Sir Titus is!
