Has anyone ever tried feeding a turtle Malabar spinach?
I am looking for more vegetables to diversify my tortoise’s diet, and I see that in Vietnam, malabar spinach is quite popular and easy to grow. I wonder if this vegetable is safe and suitable for tortoises?

Hi and thanks for contacting us. It's always a good idea to look up a plant on our Database, as we have over 1,000 plants there and symbols to tell you if they are edible (but if you can't find a plant on the database then do contact us and we will look it up for you and let you know if it is good to feed.
Malabar spinach can be fed in small quantities to provide some variety in the diet, but it should not be fed too often. Here is our entry for it:

I hope that helps and do get back to us if you have any moore questions.
