REHOMED Western Hermanni. Female, North London.

Post by lin » 14 Oct 2024, 15:31

Voldetort is a female Western Hermann (Testudo hermanni hermanni) of around 5/6 years old in East London. She is in need of a loving home because her owner has moved out of the family home into a small apartment and feels Voldetort wouldn’t have the quality of life she is used to. She eats a healthy tortoise diet including campanula, lilac leaves, valerian leaves and flowers, dandelion leaves and flowers, sedum leaves, geraniums, plantain, mallow, nasturtiums. When foraged foods are in short supply in winter this is sometimes supplemented with bagged commercial salads, which she happily devours. During the summer if the nights are mild enough, she likes to live in her large outdoor enclosure that was purposely built, and when indoors she spends her time in her tortoise table, which can be supplied with her if she is re-homed and it will include the heat and UV lamps.

If you would like to apply for Voldetort then please contact —————————- with ‘Rehome Voldetort’ as the subject and introduce yourself, let the owner know what you have to offer, the inside and outside accommodation, and any photos you might have.
If you don’t hear anything in a day or two resend and let me know on here so that I can let the owner know.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
Good luck to you all and keep me posted.

Please be aware The Tortoise Table do not allow any money to change hands during the rehoming process.
