Morris the Hermanns 3.5 years old from Chippenham in Wiltshire and in need of someone to take over the care because the owner has moved to a locality that is rife with rats and is scared for Morris’s safety. The owner is having to keep Morris inside during these precious warmer months and feels it would be best if she was rehomed to a better, safer place than she is now, somewhere she is allowed to feel the sunshine on her shell like she was used to, in this long awaited summer.
Morris has not yet hibernated/brumated and been a lone tortoise but the owner is sure Morris would like some female company and although Morris is looking female it’s possible there is room for change at this young age. Morris eats a good diet of edible wildflowers with a top up of ‘Florette crispy’ when needed.
If you would like to apply for Morris then please contact - jules_mcinnes@hotmail.com with ‘Rehome Morris’ as the subject and introduce yourself, let the owner know what you have to offer, the inside and outside accommodation, and any photos you might have.
If you don’t hear anything in a day or two resend and let me know on here so that I can let the owner know.
Remember that species cannot be mixed and quarantine period should be followed.
Good luck to you all and keep me posted.
