Can turtles just eat pellets?

I’ve had my turtle (three striped mud turtle) for a while and have just been feeding him pellets and haven’t seen any issues. Should I be giving him other things too or should I leave it since he seems fine? Google gives me a bunch of different answers so I thought I’d ask here.

I’m in the same boat! I’ve been feeding my mud turtle mostly pellets too. He seems totally fine, but I’ve also read they need more variety. Curious to hear what others feed theirs—do veggies or insects make a big difference?
