Rita, female Hermann from Leamington Spa, South Warwickshire, who, due to her owners health is looking for a loving home. Rita’s age is unknown but is well over 30 years and before she came into the present owners hands she had lost a couple of nails. Rita has been a lone tortoise for many years and might like the company of another elderly female Hermann or two. Rita is used to and loves to be in her outside home and enclosure and although she eats a rather limited diet the moment she also eats what she chooses from her outdoor enclosure. Rita comes when you call her and is quite partial to being hand fed now and again. She does hibernate so rehoming might have to be arranged around that and she would benefit from regular bathing.
