Truck Eye update

Hello,

Good news, Truck has opened his eye.

I took him to a wonderful Exotic vet last week who was very thorough and prescribed him some probiotics for his food and reptosol baths everyday for 7 days, also did an eye swab and sent his poo away for analysis.

Within 2 days of treatment his eye started to open Although it was a 3 hour round trip for us I will definitely continue to use them.

That is brilliant news, and thanks for letting us know! You must be so relieved -- and Truck must be too. Did the vet say whether the eye was closed because it was irritated from a particle of something that got into it, or whether it was an infection? Is this vet one that we have listed on our website? It's Suffolk Exotic vets, they're on your website

The vet suspected it wasn't anything to do with his actual eye more with what was going on internally, maybe deficient a vitamin or mineral or upset of the gut something or other lol
